Award(s) for Today

An early morning joy ride lands one man in police custody and damages a Beaumont fire truck. At about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Beaumont firefighters were on the scene of a fire near Calder and Belvedere. Investigators say a man jumped in the parked fire truck and drove away. The suspect was injured after he wrecked the stolen fire truck at Laurel and Caldwood. The man's name has not been released. He was taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth with non life threatening injuries. The suspect is charged with felony theft.

The truck that was stolen is a new hook and ladder truck worth about $650,000. The department's maintenance shop is trying to determine if the damage can be repaired. Yep I'd say this was a dumbass thing to do. No doubt about it.

Has anyone ever read or heard about those people in China that actually wait for Tsunami's to hit the coast and see if they can try and "make it" through. Yeah. I'm not sure if I remember correctly but I thought I read that it happens once a year. My thoughts on this? No way am I standing on a dock, or a beach and waiting for a flippin Tsunami to hit me. " Gee I'm gonna stand here and see if I can swim and not drown" Hellloooo maybe you should be worried about standing there and getting crushed. DUH.

Well, in my opinion, people who await and try to outrun tsunamis probably don't deserve to share space with the rest of the population. In other words, let them get killed and weed out the dumbshits in order to cleanse the gene pool. LOL. It's the same with those people in Spain who outrun bulls, and then get killed when they get gored or trampled on. Duhhhhhrrrrr.

Yeah there's another one for you, thanks for mentioning that. The bull run. Then people have the nerve to get sad when one of those morons dies. That's insanity. Reminds me of those journalists that mess around with tigers or lions for a spoof on the local news. Only to get mauled. Hmmm DUR ya think?
